Refund Policy

1. Overview

StratovantaSystems is committed to delivering high-quality web development, server automation, and backend architecture services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.

2. Project-Based Services

For custom development projects, refunds are handled as follows:

  • Before Project Commencement: Full refund of any advance payment minus administrative fees (5%)
  • During Active Development: Refund calculated based on percentage of work completed. Unused portions of prepaid milestones may be refunded
  • After Delivery: No refund for completed work that meets agreed specifications. Defects will be addressed under warranty (see Section 5)

3. Subscription Services

For ongoing maintenance, monitoring, or support subscriptions:

  • Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled with 30 days' notice
  • Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis within the first 90 days
  • No refund for periods during which services were actively utilized

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

  2. Include your project reference number and reason for the refund request
  3. We will review your request within 5 business days
  4. If approved, refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method

5. Warranty and Defect Resolution

All delivered work includes a 90-day warranty period covering:

  • Bugs or defects present at the time of delivery
  • Non-conformance with agreed specifications
  • Security vulnerabilities in delivered code

During the warranty period, StratovantaSystems will remedy defects at no additional cost. Warranty does not cover issues arising from client modifications, third-party integrations, or environmental changes.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Work completed and approved by the client
  • Third-party licenses or software purchases
  • Domain registration fees
  • Hosting setup fees after account activation
  • Consultation sessions that have been delivered

7. Dispute Resolution

In case of refund disputes:

  • Both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct communication
  • If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to mediation

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by StratovantaSystems ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Services Description

StratovantaSystems provides web development, server infrastructure automation, backend architecture design, and related technical services. Services include but are not limited to:

  • Custom web application development
  • Server deployment and automation
  • Database design and optimization
  • API development and integration
  • Security auditing and implementation
  • Cloud infrastructure migration
  • Technical consulting and architecture review

3. Client Obligations

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information required for project execution
  • Designate a single point of contact with decision-making authority
  • Review and approve deliverables within agreed timeframes
  • Make payments according to the agreed schedule
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the engagement

4. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of custom code developed specifically for their project
  • StratovantaSystems retains rights to general methodologies, frameworks, and pre-existing tools
  • Client data and content remain the exclusive property of the client
  • Neither party may use the other's trademarks without written permission

5. Payment Terms

  • Invoices are due within 15 days of issue unless otherwise agreed
  • Late payments incur a 2% monthly fee
  • Work may be suspended after 30 days of non-payment
  • All prices are in Euros (€) and exclude applicable VAT

6. Project Execution

  • Projects begin upon receipt of signed agreement and initial payment
  • Timelines are estimates; delays caused by client affect delivery schedule
  • Scope changes require written change orders with adjusted pricing
  • Client feedback is required within agreed review periods

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives termination of the agreement for a period of 3 years.

8. Limitation of Liability

StratovantaSystems' total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Warranty

Delivered work carries a 90-day warranty covering defects present at delivery. See Refund Policy Section 5 for details.

10. Termination

  • Either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice
  • Immediate termination permitted for material breach
  • Upon termination, client pays for all work completed to date
  • Confidentiality obligations survive termination

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vigo, Pontevedra, España.

12. Modifications

StratovantaSystems reserves the right to modify these terms. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
